Two years have passed, and the pandemic has modified us in ways beyond what we were willing to entertain years before. With climate change peaking around the corner, and the information dystopia ravaging our daily lives, are we going to slide all the way down?
Then comes the war: an actual physical war. A war between Ukraine and Russia that all my logic and reason would have said is impossible, but one that nevertheless was being fought in the shadows, and reared it's ugly when one thought it is least possible.
Confusing thoughts keep fighting each other. Thoughts are expensive to express these days. You pay with a different currency however: political or social inconvenience or time.
People, and therefore Governments, keep getting conservative. How could we have known such a change was coming? Not only physical, and biological, but also psychological.
